C~urb secures place on national framework | About us

Creating places where people want to live, in homes designed to meet net zero targets

C~urb provides sector leading property development, management and maintenance services, throughout Scotland.

Creating sustainable communities is our central aim, and we do this by building sustainably, maintaining homes efficiently and by managing ethically.

We will do this in a manner that minimises our impact on the environment and where we can, reverse the impact of Carbon emissions and c~urb greenhouse gases.

We’re new, but more than 60 years in the making. C~urb is a subsidiary of Link Group, established in 1962, which is a values led, highly accredited group of social enterprise companies; aimed at improving lives through quality, affordable housing and related services.

C~urb launched in 2022, to bring its expertise to a wider market including RSLs, Local Authorities and the Scottish Government, as well as private companies and investors.

We invest in our staff through mandatory training and learning development, ensuring the highest standards are continually provided and match the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

We are unique; providing full end to end asset development, maintenance and management services, or bespoke individual functions, tuned to our clients’ needs.

Building, managing and maintaining homes for investor led portfolios

We can offer a unique and seamless service for investor led portfolio acquisition, whether that’s existing portfolios, or developing new property assets from feasibility to occupation and managing and maintaining throughout the asset’s life. Principally, we are deploying our expert teams to support private sector development in the same way as we’ve been delivering these bespoke services for Link and other clients for many years.

The integrated service also provides end-to-end contact with housing and landlord teams giving an added layer of property protection and tenancy management.

C~urb secures place on national framework

We are proud to announce our successful appointment to the Procurement for Housing (PfH) Framework for planned maintenance and property refurbishment services across three specialist Lots: Kitchens, Bathrooms, and Property Refurbishment.

This achievement follows a rigorous tender process, during which C~urb demonstrated exceptional capability, resource availability, and a long-standing track record of delivering high-quality capital works and reactive maintenance projects.

With over 12,800 homes currently under management, C~urb brings a depth of experience, a highly skilled in-house workforce, and a quality-first ethos all aligning with PfH’s vision.

C~urb Managing Director and Link Group Commercial Director Colin Culross said: “We are delighted to be part of the PfH Framework.

“This reflects the commitment, quality, and reliability C~urb consistently delivers.

“Our dedicated teams, robust project management systems, and robust quality management processes are what set us apart.

“We look forward to supporting PfH members in achieving exceptional outcomes for their customers.”

Underpinning this success is C~urb’s approach to quality management supported by ISO 9001 and 45001 accreditations, its in-house labour force, and a highly responsive project delivery structure led by experienced managers and directors.

C~urb offers clients full control, transparency, and accountability across all phases of work – from initial survey to final handover.

Sustainability is key and C~urb’s transition to a green fleet is well underway, with 58 vans being powered by electric or hybrid technology, reducing our carbon impact for every mile travelled.

With a 99.87% first-time handover success rate, we remain committed to delivering value-driven, customer-focused services with a consistent standard of excellence.
