Stirling High School pupils given housing career insight | About us

Creating places where people want to live, in homes designed to meet net zero targets

C~urb provides sector leading property development, management and maintenance services, throughout Scotland.

Creating sustainable communities is our central aim, and we do this by building sustainably, maintaining homes efficiently and by managing ethically.

We will do this in a manner that minimises our impact on the environment and where we can, reverse the impact of Carbon emissions and c~urb greenhouse gases.

We’re new, but more than 60 years in the making. C~urb is a subsidiary of Link Group, established in 1962, which is a values led, highly accredited group of social enterprise companies; aimed at improving lives through quality, affordable housing and related services.

C~urb launched in 2022, to bring its expertise to a wider market including RSLs, Local Authorities and the Scottish Government, as well as private companies and investors.

We invest in our staff through mandatory training and learning development, ensuring the highest standards are continually provided and match the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

We are unique; providing full end to end asset development, maintenance and management services, or bespoke individual functions, tuned to our clients’ needs.

Building, managing and maintaining homes for investor led portfolios

We can offer a unique and seamless service for investor led portfolio acquisition, whether that’s existing portfolios, or developing new property assets from feasibility to occupation and managing and maintaining throughout the asset’s life. Principally, we are deploying our expert teams to support private sector development in the same way as we’ve been delivering these bespoke services for Link and other clients for many years.

The integrated service also provides end-to-end contact with housing and landlord teams giving an added layer of property protection and tenancy management.

Stirling High School pupils given housing career insight

Almost 1,000 Stirling High School pupils gained an insight into a career in housing from sector experts recently.

Representatives from Link Housing and C~urb were on hand to provide students with information and insights into Link Group at their Future Pathways event.

The S2 to S6 pupils also found out about further education opportunities during the careers event, which was arranged by Stirling High School to encourage pupils to consider their choices of further education courses or future employment opportunities.

Link Housing Head of Housing Services Tricia McManus said: “One of Link’s commitments is to promote housing as a career through this education-led initiative.

“It was a pleasure to meet the young people and tell them about a career in housing as it is such a rewarding and valuable profession.”

C~urb Factoring Coordinator Andrea Mina added: “Housing is a dynamic and rewarding career destination for school leavers and graduates.

“It was great to raise awareness about the skills and qualifications required for these roles and to expand young people’s career horizons.”

Andrea Mina, Lara Turner, Property Management Officer and former Graduate Trainee, Tricia McManus, and Tsega Spence, Link Housing Locality Manager for Falkirk, participated at the event on Monday 26 November.
