Riverside Dalmarnock receives parliamentary recognition following latest award win
A motion by a Scottish politician celebrates Phase three of Riverside Dalmarnock winning Age Exclusive Development of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards 2024.
Dr Sandesh Gulhane MSP lodged a motion which reads:
“That the [Scottish] Parliament congratulates Riverside Dalmarnock development upon winning Age Exclusive Development of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards 2024; notes that the award, given for phase three of the development, is the most recent recognition for Riverside Dalmarnock, which previously won the Architecture: Regeneration award at the Scottish Design Awards 2022, Affordable Housing Development of the Year and Housing Regeneration Project of the Year at the Homes for Scotland Awards 2022; understands that the development is a partnership project between Link Group and McTaggart Construction; recognises that Riverside Dalmarnock is a mixed tenure development of 562 new homes, providing a mixture of homes for affordable rent, new supply shared equity, mid-market rent and private purchase, and welcomes the regeneration of the Dalmarnock area in Glasgow, involving an array of projects to create new homes, community venues, amenities and green spaces, revitalising the area for the future.”
The motion has attracted support from the following MSPs: Colin Beattie, Miles Briggs, Pam Duncan-Glancy, Meghan Gallacher, Pam Gosal, Craig Hoy, Bill Kidd, Stuart McMillan, Edward Mountain, Ash Regan, Douglas Ross, Alexander Stewart, Paul Sweeney, and Annie Wells.
